Good Grit exists to shine a light on the South—the real past, the way forward, and all of the amazing southerners who are getting us there. There are business owners, philanthropists, and neighbors in our communities who are putting in the work every day, and it's those folks who make the South a better place to live—but we are also aware of the ways our communities still struggle. We acknowledge the lack of funding, resources, and support many people of color face when trying to bring an idea to life and make it grow. Sometimes all you need is one person to say yes, to believe in you, to lift you up. We want to be that person!
